Can I use a non-square logo?
Yes. Fit whole image keeps your entire logo centered without stretching it. Crop to square fills the available area and clips the edges. Padding adds breathing room around the result.
Why does my favicon look blurry?
A browser tab icon is tiny. Simple shapes and high contrast work best. Small source images are enlarged for larger outputs, which cannot create missing detail. Use a larger original if available.
Does this create a complete PWA?
No. The manifest contains basic app metadata and standard icons. Installing a web app depends on your site's other configuration and browser support. These are standard icons, not maskable icons.
Are SVG or animated images supported?
This version accepts static PNG, JPG and WebP. Export SVG artwork as a large PNG first. Animated PNG and WebP are rejected to avoid silently using only one frame.
