HOW TO PRACTICE

Start at a comfortable tempo. Play evenly for a few bars, then raise the BPM a little. Use subdivisions to hear the spaces between beats, and save different tempos for your exercises.

What do BPM and beats per bar mean?

BPM is beats per minute: 60 BPM gives one main beat per second. Beats per bar groups those beats; 3 gives a repeating 1–2–3 pattern, while 4 gives 1–2–3–4. The first beat can play a higher accent. This tool uses evenly spaced beats, not compound-meter grouping.

Does it work in the background?

Keep this tab visible and your device awake. Playback stops when you switch tabs or lock your screen so a suspended browser cannot play a burst of delayed clicks. Press Start when you return.

Why is there no sound?

Press Start, raise the volume here and on your device, and check that the browser tab is not muted. Bluetooth audio can introduce delay. Presets remain available if you reload, unless browser storage is cleared or unavailable.
