ASPECT RATIO FINDER

Does padding remove my original background?
No. Transparent padding adds empty space around your picture. An existing solid background stays solid. Choose Solid color to place both the image and new padding over your chosen color.
Does this resize to a specific pixel resolution?
This tool changes the shape at the original pixel scale, rather than setting an arbitrary output resolution. Cropping produces a smaller canvas; padding produces a larger canvas.
Are files uploaded or stored?
No. Images are decoded and processed locally. Reloading clears the image. PNG export does not copy original metadata.
